Hitchcock

I enjoy experimenting with working small amounts of color to create texture and effects.  This was the foundation upon which “Hitchcock” was formed. The curtain effect reminded me of some very heavy velvet curtains that my father bought for my mother after a big horseracing bet came in ! Swiftly on… adding a bit more colour and the shape of a woman started to evolve, in a sleeveless short dress, very early 1960s. She was almost hiding, camouflaging herself , peeping out from the curtains, and perhaps with good reason, this was the era of the Hitchcock thriller. The deep reds are always good for a little mystery.
