“Storm Coming” is a colourful depiction of a Cotswold sky, using the full rainbow palette to capture its unusual light.
“Storm Coming” – one of Nature’s occasional gifts. When I was diagnosed with macullar degeneration ten years ago, I vowed that I would do two things, firstly I would do every in my power to look after my eyesight, including protection and nutrition, to arrest the decline. Secondly, to take more time to appreciate the natural phenomena all around me every day.
From time to time, we will see these beautiful skyscapes, no two are ever quite the same. Usually it suggests water in the atmosphere, and more often than not, a change in the weather will follow.
I particularly enjoyed the way the colours conspire here to capture that mysterious light.
